Patricia has worked with Britain's Royal National Theatre,
on their production of "The Cripple of Inishmaan." She has recently completed an extensive run with Robert
Lindsay on the Royal Shakespeare Company's production of "Richard III." She has been equally busy filming
"The Big Smoke" for Yorkshire TV," Between Dreams," for RTE and was also in the film of "Borstal Boy."
She appeared in the premiere of Elizabeth Kuhti's new play "Treehouses" at the Northcott Theatre, Exeter,
and was in the acclaimed production of "The Dybuk" at the BAC.
Her original training took place at the Abbey Theatre in Dublin, and was closely followed by work with most
of the leading Irish and British repertory theatre companies.
Her numerous TV appearances include: "The Forsyte Saga"; "The March"; "Antonia and Jane"; "The Ruby Wax Show";
"So You Think You've Got Troubles?"; "Roughnecks"; "A Touch of Frost"; "Beyond the Pale"; "The Family Tree,"
etc.
In theatre she has embraced numerous roles:- Amanda in "The Glass Menagerie"; The Nurse in "Romeo and Juliet";
Shylock in "The Merchant of Venice"; Sheela Mann in "The Colleen Bawn"; Andreina in "Ballad of Wolves"; Clara
in "Hay Fever"; Miss Prism in "The Importance of Being Earnest"; Oenone in "Phaedra"
She joined the BBC Radio Drama Company, playing a myriad of leading roles: Alice in "Alice of Kilkenny",
Flavia Wisebite in "A Dance to the Music of Time", Eugenia in "A Great Life", Aunt Lizzie in "Philadelphia
Here I Come" She also appeared as The Widow in the RTE production of "Grief a la Mode," and as Molly in her
production of "Molly Bloom" for ABC. Most recently she played Mother Superior in the new "Dr. Who" CD.
She has a long list of cassettes to her credit including: "Eveline"; "Dubliners"; "Jipping Street"; "The
Moonstone"; "Heart's Desire"; "Rupert Bear"; "Black Beauty"; Arnold Bennett's short story series; "The Dark
Arches"; "Montague's Whore"; "Heart's Desire" and many more!
"Molly Bloom," her one woman show from James Joyce's Ulysses, toured globally, to critical acclaim and
received the "Critics Award for Excellence."
An experienced drama teacher, she has taught at Britain's foremost Drama Schools, as well as staging
workshops, seminars, masterclasses and lectures throughout Europe and Australia.
